This morning our FVP4000T (in daily use) gave a blank screen, EPG says something like ‘no information on all channels, trying to select a channel gave a massage to the effect you can’t do that whilst recording or streaming (no recording or streaming taking place). We can watch what has been recorded fine. Signal strength and quality gives 0% on all three tuners. Is there anything inside repairable? I can do PTH soldering though not Surface mount.
Sorry I should have mentioned I also tried the 4000t on the aerial connection in our bedroom with same results and another freeview box is fine on the lounge Aerial that the 4000T was on.
I spoke to Humax who suggested a factory reset and that worked
You lose an recording schedule and your favourites but all your existing recordings are still there. So disaster averted. Thanks Humax.
