Screen ratio on my screen decided to go to 4:3 even though it says that it is 16:9. Nothing I can do will change it. Now I have to suffer chopped off heads and missing bits on the search menu

Hi welcome to our forum. What settings do you have set on your TV for aspect ratio ?
On the box, Settings – picture and sound what is screen ratio and display format set to ?

Many thanks. For some reason Tv suddenly switched, for no reason, to 4:3 ratio having been on 16:9 all its life.

Possibly an unremarked button on the remote control accidentally pressed?
It would have taken 3 pushes plus scrolling down a menu. I’ll put it down to a glitch and hopefully it doesn’t happen again.
