InactiveRecently, when I return to the TV HDMI port my 5000T’s connected to (after watching BluRays on the other HDMI port) I find the box is playing UK Gold or some weird shopping channel that I’ve never watched in my life.
I have to go through the rigmarole of entering the EPG, switching to my Favorites which – excepting Sky News – has only HD channels and choosing to watch Sky News live to get back to that channel and have only my favourite channels visible when I return to the main screen.
I never watch any live channel except Sky News and record everything else to watch later. Before a couple of days ago the box would always be tuned to Sky News when I turned it on or returned to it from using the TV’s other HDMI port. I’d like to restore that default. TIA.
EDIT: No settings have been changed recently.

InactiveThanks for the reply.
No, I turn it off with the remote at 1 or 2 AM and leave it on standby to record the day’s news programs. I turn it back on with the remote to watch them at around 17:00.

InactiveI wonder if your BluRay remote has a few codes which clash with the Humax and causes it to switch channels.
I forget how, but you can change the Humax to a different set of codes.

Why would this suddenly be the case when there’s been no problem for the last few years? Has there been a recent update?

Ah, well I didn’t know how long you had been using the BluRay.

InactiveThanks for the replies. For no discernible reason the strange behaviour has stopped as abruptly as it started.
