    Hello,

The box show no signal on both tuners while it is on Freesat mode.

Therefore the box can not do a reset.

The problem does not come from the caballes or stat dish; because the signal on both tuners is good While the box is on STB mode. And I can watch a large number of channels on STB mode.

IF you have any idea please let me know.

ps: box is 20 months old and was working fine till two days ago when I tried to reset.

I try to reset because the box was freezed just after turning it on.

    Thanks

    Hi welcome to our forum.

This thread may well be relevant.

Find transponder 11428 H (Might be 11427 H) using manual tune and post signal strength and quality.

Only thing you can do is get your dish alignment and cable connections checked. If your dish is accessible DIY instructions are posted in the thread I linked to.

If you have a friend with a satellite dish you could take it there and borrow his cables to set it up again, it should then work normally though any changes in the interim will likely not make it to your box.

Other alternative is to wait until the freesat home transponder migrates to 28.2E which is possibly within the next 2-3wks. It will be a much stronger signal when this happens.

No – only clue I have is this post here. Doesn’t mean it’s accurate.

The frequency of this channel and polarisation are the same as the freesdat home transponder (at present anyway). If you could not receive it, then we could add other possibilities such as failing LNB.

Graham suggests – take the unit to a friends to do the install.

That whas why I linked to the thread. My signal has increased to 100/100 this morning. I reckon Eutelsat have boosted the power. The weather was fine last time I checked and only had 60% quality.
