I am completely stumped on this. No way can I work out how get them on the hub, and it seems hopelessly limited in the control one has compared with BBC IPlayer.
Advice Please!
I’m a little sad that no one has been able to reply.
I have read in the ITV site all about the S that is supposed to appear when ITV Hub has subtitles available, and would be surprised they were not available on major shows such as Halcyon, Midsomer and Endeavour, yet in none has that S been visible.
Will someone, please, help me to solve this? Shots of what I should see might be helpful?

We do offer subtitles on most of our shows on the website but unfortunately we don’t have them available on Connected TVs. We are looking to introduce subtitles across all devices very soon.
This I would infer also means devices such as Humax boxes.
Thanks Barry! I must have failed to appreciate the bit about connected TVs.
TBH I don’t think their way of expression is that good for a Joe Soap like me. 🙄
