InactiveSince software update internet radio has gone from tv portal. Nobody at tvportal email address can be bothered to reply/explain where/why internet radio has gone.

ModeratorWelcome to the Forum

Post beta but pre public release of v28 a problem arose re the portal and Internet radio that caused the unit to reboot. Humax made the sensible decision to remove it from the portal whilst investigating.

InactiveThanks for info on internet radio. More sensible decision would have been to not update the software until everything worked. Box was working perfectly well with previous software, now it doesn
t. Used to own Setanta PVR. With that it was possible to reload previous version of software from hard disc. Very necessary since their frequent software updates usually resulted in box not working. Anybody still believe in adage if its working dont fix it! I want my internet radio back, main reason for getting Fox-T2 HD pvr since I already had non HD humax.July 25, 2012 at 10:19 pm #33107Anonymous
InactiveI agree. I had similar thoughts I shared in the .28 software update topic.
Although, you can put the previous version (.20) back and hope to get the internet radio back. Make sure to avoid automatic software update OverTheAir.

You can indeed install any version you like on the Humax but it will not bring the Internet radio back because it has been temporarily removed from the portal.

InactiveYou are right. I’ve just done the “downgrade” to .20 version as the Internet Radio used to work with this version. I just hoped to get the Internet Radio back… but I failed
or I think, Humax failed…

InactiveYou can get it back on .20 with the xtra1 portal as it has a direct link.
Google Xtra1 portal for more info.

ModeratorA new software version will be required after all. Testing currently in progress – however, software updates are in ‘lockdown’ for the duration of the olympics.
