I have 2 4000T devices. Both updated automatically to the latest firmware some weeks ago. Both now demonstrate this new behaviour.
Now, if you are watching a channel and time-shift, ie rewind or pause for any length of time, if you then subsequently go to the program guide and select another program to view the watch live option is not there, only the option to record it. The only way, annoyingly, is to go back to what you were watching, press the stop button to bring it back to the live view, then go back to the program guide and you’ll now be able to change channels.
Needless to say this wasn’t an issue before, and I cannot think of a logical reason this was intentionally introduced. I assume therefore it’s a bug.
Or have I missed something?
There’s a thread here called “Can’t change channels at current time in EPG” and sound like the same problem, have a read of that one.
Thanks. Looks like a similar thing, I’ll keep an eye on that. Definite bug introduced in the last FW in my opinion.
