InactiveI took down the Foxsat today, and replaced it with the 1100S. Everything seems to work apart from having only one tuner set, even after more than one try at re-seating the cables and making sure the connectors are tight.
The other problem is that the remote doesn’t turn the TV on/off, no matter how close and in line I stand. The Foxsat remote works fine though!!
I’d be grateful for any thoughts or advice on the above, please.

InactiveLike the Foxsat two cables are only detected at initial install.
Check the F-connectors should make a circuit and do a reset to default. Note the on screen message.
Did you setup the remote to the TV code?

InactiveI try to reset to factory settings, but a PIN is requested, but one was never set by me. How do I get over that one? AFAICS there’s nothing in the Quick Start Guide, the only documentation I received from the retailer (JLP) who usually are very good.

InactiveThanks for help

The problem of the PVR remote not operating to TV turn, on/off remains, however.
Is it something like a code needed as with the Foxsat? If I can find the old handbook, will the instructions and codes be alike?

InactiveThanks once more.

All seems to work well, or will once my manipulating skills are honed.
Does anyone know, if there’s a problem with Demand5? I try to search the site using the numbered buttons on the remote but nothing happens. Ideas why?
Observations FWIW
Remote acceptance angle seems narrower. Mute on old machine was useful.

ParticipantDemand 5
Press the up key from the search box to activate the entry box. Mute works on my 1000S (On my remote it’s the top left button), yours may be different.
