InactiveThanks for the link, read it and was hoping it would show how to access my NAS. My TV shows attached drives (usb or nas) as icons with no additional app needed. (LG OLED). Do I need to download an app? Any advice welcome.

No device information on Logitech Harmony.
Does that mean that it does *not* share the same remote control codes as every other box that Humax makes? Or have you not tried that?
(if it does then that would make it awkward to run alongside my BT Youview box)
Remote is Bluetooth – FAQ

According to the Product Manual there is an IR mode for the Humax Aura
“If pairing is unsuccessful, the remote will remain in infrared mode and the LED will blink red 5 times after a key is pressed”.
Is that part of the Product Manual incorrect, and if not, then what does that statement mean?

Yes the remote is blue tooth, but my Fox hdr T2 remote also operates some funtions on the Aura
That would suggest that the Bluetooth is only for the voice control feature and that the primary control is via IR. Or is the Fox remote BT also?
I suspect that my earlier post is close to the mark.
The Bluetooth pairing is probably a necessity for voice control (although once paired will operate all functions) but without pairing it is just a normal IR remote.

InactiveHave others logged the issue with BBC iPlayer/Sounds and NowTV apps via Humax support?

InactiveWould appear the BBC is slow in certifying iplayer for the Aura, it certainly worked during testing albeit a precert version. My bad, misunderstood communication, apparently it is certified, just awaiting another clearance.

InactiveI’m not getting any sound whatsoever from my sonos surrounds using the aura, my other humax box is fine with same setup, any ideas anyone, Cheers.

InactiveMy Sony surrounds are working ok with it.
I know it’s a low bar, but it’s a lot more responsive than any other Humax box!
The LED on the front of the box is far too bright.

InactiveMy box was delivered today.
So far I’m impressed with the speed which is the main reason for the purchase.
Has anyone managed to display HDR correctly?
HDR content played through Prime video, YouTube, Plex doesn’t trigger HDR EDID information.
My HD Fury (DIVA) reports :-
4K50 420 BT709 8b 297MHz 2.2
Which is SD colour space.
Resolution is set to “auto” and I had expected Aura to output the correct format based upon the content played.
Anyone else seen this?

InactiveBox arrived today and some testing seems to have this bug if anyone willing to test also, and if any people have contacts with humax to forward.
It disables Ethernet during connecting to VPN, this happens on 4 vpn providers I tested, works fine on WiFi.
It also gives an ipv6 address on networking even though I have that off at router level – needs the IPv6 toggle on and off like Nvidia shield.
Then the same as few have reported
NowTV installs but says not compatible
BBC iPlayer and bbc sounds black screen
No Netflix, but can sideload a patched Netflix that gives 1080 at 5800kbps but needs a mouse as pants mobile app.
That’s the few bugs so far I have noticed.
The rest has been fine and getting used to freeview play.
