Same version, same release note as in post 1.
Hopefully that will shut up the people with conspiracy theories about some terrible problem with 1.03.12. However the people complaining about the EPG response will probably surface again; do you know if Humax intend to do anything about it Barry?

InactiveAny sign of an update for the HD Fox T2? My parents have one and were planning to add a hard disc to record things with it. I warned them not to until we get 1.03.12 for it.

InactiveReceived the following from Humax today (2 May 2014):
Quote:Thank you for contacting Humax Support. The next update for the HDR Fox T2 will be next week. You will be prompted to update when it is released and this will fix the slow scrolling issue.

InactiveI can’t see how it will fix the slow scrolling issue given that we’ve already been told it’s the samme version number.

The DTG are very unlikely to get it wrong, they don’t just broadcast anything that comes there way. Humax won’t have got the version incorrect.

InactiveAnd Barry has already told us it’s the same version as last time.
So Humax support are wrong telling people it will fix the slow scrolling issue.

InactiveRepeat downloads mentioned in Graham North’s latest newsletter by email. Dates, version number, a small list of fixes. Here’s a link to the web version(scroll down a bit to find the downloads):

Best Regards,
The latest OTA update still has the slow EPG scrolling issue.
I have never used 1.03.12 before – the lag is noticeable and could be better, but I find that it is just about acceptable.
The moral is – don’t believe what Humax Customer Support tell you!

InactiveHi,
Every morning since the middle of this week I found my HDR T2 box on in the morning saying L0XX but no video coming out of it. In the evenings I had to switch it off to get it working again. On a chance I tried starting an auto update and found that this rev of software is available. This solves the mystery of what was happening (for me).
Unfortunately when I trigger the update it takes minutes per percentage point such that to get to 55% took about 5 hours. Each time after many hours the screen says Error: E-OS and askes to restart the box. At the moment this is rendering the box pretty useless so can I ask that you prioritise releasing this update on the web so we can do a USB update please?
Thanks
A

ModeratorWelcome to our Forum

Try a factory reset then leave box in standby and see if the overnight update works.
Edit: More OTA dates confirmed by DTG post #75 updated
