Mine is a 4000T and it works fine.
Spotted your post John on the other thread after asking the question.
Seems all 4000 and 5000 boxes all working. A poster on Hummy TV so far has not been able to install the update.

Should now be fixed by software update to 1.03.52.
I’m already running the updated firmware.
My posts are regarding the issues since updating.

Not experiencing any of the issues you posted since the update. Can you try a reset to factory defaults ? This should clear any issues left in NVram.

my 5000T software update didn’t work the first time, it went through all fine it seemed but on checking after it restarted it hadn’t changed.
tried it again, watched it through to 100%, it switched off and stayed off or so it seemed, eventually it came back on, or i turned it back on there was a new screen stating “i think” downloading and installing on 2 separate bars, went off again and all was fine after it restarted, after around 30 seconds.
i don’t know what happened in the middle but nothing was happening, nothing on the screen for around 7 mins.
I’ve not tried the apps yet so cant confirm.
might be worth others double checking that its installed afterwards.

If that was me – I’ve managed to update now.

InactiveFactory reset completed but still the same with iPlayer (haven’t tried My5 yet).
Please try this, as I can replicate the issue time after time.
Open up iPlayer.
Scroll across to “settings” and select.
Scroll down to the “return/back” or the “close/x” icon and select.
IPlayer will then either hang on a blank screen with the loading wheel and eventually (after a couple of minutes) return to the home page with “home” highlighted.
Or…
It will return to the home page with “settings” highlighted. If that happens, try to scroll left to the “home” tab. As you do, the search page will appear but when you then scroll across to the “categories” tab, the search page will stick with the loading wheel. Again, after a couple of minutes it then changes to the correct categories page and you can then scroll across to home.

ParticipantI was out all day yesterday but on checking today the box has updated to 1.03.52. The transformation to the behaviour of All4 and My5 apps is remarkable and they are very usable now. BBC iPlayer seems a little slower than it was previously to me but is still perfectly usable.

InactiveSame here, noticed the posts and checked my box and it had updated sometime during the night or day.
