InactiveOh Bum!
Just tried the Aura Android app.
I can’t rotate the Recording list so it plays in landscape mode, which would be the logical mode to play in. Even the Freeview, Iplayer and other apps play in Landscape, so what’s going on?
Anybody else having this problem.
Mobile phone by the way, not a tablet.
AHHHH, just realised I have to MANUALLY press the screen icon button on the lower right of the video, once I’ve tapped the screen to show it. No doubt designed by Biggus Dickus.

InactiveWhen you press S/AD for the Audio/video options, I notice it says, Home Cinema, mine says off, what is this for and how do you turn it on, thanks.

InactiveIt is for the remote to operate the home cinema system volume rather the STB (Aura) output.
Hold OK & red button for 3 seconds,it alternates between home cinema & STB everytime you do this.

InactiveOne thing I was hoping for, was the ability to watch recordings outside the home network over mobile or WiFi data. This would be good for hospital or holiday use. I’ve done a few quick tests, to be expanded if I have time later. It looks like the Aura App complains if WiFi is turned off and won’t access remotely, assuming port is forwarded. I think even with a VPN and WiFi turned on (connected?) it might be a NO. So anyone else like to play and see?
Is this another case of spoiling the ship for ha’penny of tar?

InactiveTurning off the audio transcoding has finally resolved my lip sync issue between the aura box and the blu ray player I use for 5.1 surround as I have the tv connected to the Blu ray using the arc channel. Also I can control the blu ray player volume via the aura remote control. Great stuff Humax.

InactiveThank you for the screen shots. I must say I am impressed with the app. I just need to check to see if the bug when I set a recording to record the series that it shows in the EPG as it seems a bit ad hoc as to whether the R logo shows or not and I have to check the schedule each time which is a little annoying.

I have a Sonos Beam, but I think it may be using the Samsung q70r hdmi, to alter the volume. You may have to programme the remote as well, under Freeview Prefrences
