InactiveBarry I understand that 1.03.11 is being shipped on re-furbished HDR-Fox T2/GB units at present, do you know if this or a later version is going to be made available for download in the foreseeable future?

InactiveI have just bought a refurbished HDR FOX T2 (the label on the back says that it’s refurbished) and the installed firmware is 1.02.20 with the a7.31 loader.
The label on the bottom of the case says that it’s a “GB” model and the aerial sockets on the back are side by side.

InactiveBought refurbished from where? 1.02.20 is pretty old software.

InactiveI agree that it’s pretty old software. I bought it from electricaldeals (http://www.electrical-deals.co.uk/) via their eBay shop (http://stores.ebay.co.uk/electricaldeals/). It arrived in a pretty beaten-up box, but the contents were pristine and looked totally brand-new. Cost me £145.99 including delivery, but looks like I got the last one.

Not ignoring you ezra, trying to get latest from Humax Towers.
I am as frustrated as the rest of you as I have released info re updates in good faith only for it to be delayed again – The release has been put back a few times as newer versions became available and were put through the testing and SQE procedures.

… SQE procedures.
What does SQE stand for in this context?

InactiveHopefully the BBC 3/4 HD recording problems will finally prove enough of an incentive for Humax to actually ship something, on both HD Fox T2 and HDR Fox T2 ( oh and the T2000 or whatever it is called).
Previously everything was working quite well so there just wasn’t that much incentive for Humax to release anything.

The BBC HD recording problem is still being investigated, and a fix may/may not be engineered in time for next release.
There are some important changes in whichever version is eventually released, and a fix which no one has spotted in 1.03.06 as yet, I do not think 😉

Tease
Are you saying that 1.03.06 contains a fix over previous 1.02.xx versions that hasn’t been spotted? I shall await the official release notes in anticipation.Seriously though, thanks for the updates so far Barry.

InactiveI’m on 1.02.32 so no chance of me spotting a bug fix in 1.03.06.

InactiveBarry is the fix in 1.03.06 that you refer to in #57 the way it handles IPTV channels? most are still not supported by the HDR, but it doesn’t crash as it did in previous releases. I have noticed that LCN 231 Racing UK pulls up a menu page and Log In screen now
