InactiveBoth my partner and myself are having the same problems. Not connected to the internet as we are both in France.
Becoming really annoying having to unplug and plug in everytime we want to change channels. They are both 1TB boxes.

ModeratorNo consolation I know, but I have just witnessed the lock up, and Humax Towers have as well.
Clutching at straws – my unit would have been near to the auto power down time of 3 hours…red herring?

InactiveHi All
Just to echo what you all have said so far. I have been having the same problems since last week. Have also noticed the clock/timer symbol on the box. Box is only 6 months old, had been working fine up until now and was really pleased with it. Frustration was really starting to build over the weekend the number of time I had to shut off the power to get it working again. Looking forward to what Humax towers come back with, otherwise I will be demanding a refuns from the retailer.

InactiveMine was only after been switched on for about 20 minutes before it froze so probably a red herring alright.

InactiveHi, to add another user to this problem our Humax is about2 months old and never connected to the Internet and every time we use the remote to playback recordings it freezes and we have to reboot the Humax recorder.

InactiveHi Again
At 5:15pm today Humax box turned itself off and then on again without any assistance from me.Could this be Humax trying to rectify the freezing problem?

InactiveSame happened with my box and was hoping that it would be Humax that did it – fingers crossed

InactiveI also experienced this last night. I’m on UKSFAA 1.08 dated 04 Nov on a 1TB HDR-1000S not connected to the internet. Today I started the box to see if I could replicate the issue. I could not, but worryingly the box spontaneously rebooted itself after a while.
I have noticed over the past while that sometimes it takes several attempts for the box to start. It gets to the freetime flashing logo and then returns to “starting” appearing on the box display. However I’m not sure if this is in anyway connected to the locking up issue.

InactiveWell mine was connected all last night and all day today and have had no lock ups. It’s disconnected now and so far has been fine.
This has been some extra terrestrial weirdness
