InactiveSame message with new install on a second phone. I guess it’s goosed.

I bought one a couple of days ago.
I set it up yesterday morning and it was working fine for an hour or so.
Then the app crashed and the camera stopped working. I’ve tried severa times to get back online but no joy.
I’ve uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. I’ve reset the camera. I’ve rebooted the router.
currently the camera is stuck on a flashing blue light and when i try to setup the camera in the app, I get the message “Disconnected from Evo camera, please try again.”
I’ve googled but nothing helpful has come up.
Any ideas folks? Tech support closed until Tuesday i believe.

I have 2 of these cameras, if it stops working and blue light is on or just flashing, remove usb lead from plug for thirty seconds, put back in and wait and it should work again for you….

InactiveHi Davy, the camera was unplugged for approx 24hours so i tried it again just now. Same issue.
The app finds the camera and lists the available wifi networks. When it tries to connect i get the Evo message again

nope
I asked because my password was too long and complex. It was 1 camera later till Humax found out it doesn’t like long passwords and odd characters. 2nd camera was faulty, camera number one probably wasn’t.
Number 3 works fine

Clearly not the cause of your problem. Guessing Humax support will ask this question.

InactiveIt did connect for a while and worked ok… just not been able to get it back online/added since.
Thanks for all the suggestions though. I’ll call them tomorrow and update everyone.

Inactivereplacement arrived and is working.
Is there a way to deactivate the status light on the camera?I’ve had a good look at the info but so far not found anything.
Also, is it possible to zoom in via the app?

InactiveJust discovered that LOCATION RECORDING is not working. The camera should be operative when the phone is out of range (not sure how far but I was 6 miles away this morning).
Not so. I have turned the feature off and the camera is now picking up movement. I will call CS on Monday. Anyone else seeing this behaviour? R-

InactiveMorning, i’ve been using my camera for a little while now and see that motion recordings only seem to last around 30 seconds.
Is this normal? Is it maybe down to low BB bandwidth?
Even if i download the clip, it still only lasts around 30 seconds even though it’s listed as being longer than 30 seconds.
