As for the rebooting issue, there is a new software update on the horizon…
You mean post UKSFAA 2.00.05? I would be surprised if any info was in the public domain on that.

…So does anyone know of a forecast for when the next rumoured update, beyond 2.00.05, will be available to us?
The last update was 6 months in gestation, so it’s anybody’s guess.

Well I’d imagine once Humax have been able to replicate issues and found a way to ressolve them, then an OTA update won’t be too far behind.

InactiveAfter nearly 3-years, this problem has today started again! Twice this evening my HDR1000S has rebooted and gone into standby without warning. The first time was at exactly 19:00 and then again just now at 22:02. The current software version is 3.00.44 which was updated on 21/07/2016. Anyone else experiencing this?

I am and others, but on different threads. I don’t think it’s software related most likely Freesat tinkering. Mine rebooted at 19:06 and very close to your 22:02. Sometimes it boots back to the home screen (22:02), the 19:06) to sby.

InactiveOur 1000s has also re-booted for no apparent reason this evening. Both times during playback of recordings.
Reported via email to Humax support

InactiveMine rebooted about 21.05 last evening.
Also on Monday 19th Sept at exactly the same time.
Both times, I was recording and had to restart the recording manually, missing a few minutes.

InactiveMine automatically switches on via timer at 18:00. Although I wasn’t using it i.e. watching Freeview instead, I noticed later in the evening, well before the auto power saving shutdown that our 1000s had switched itself off. I’m assuming it did the same as lots of others have reported though mine did not reboot, simply switched itself off.
Will have to check recordings later as it was scheduled to do one. Funnily enough and possibly unrelated, we also had problems with our Freeview signal last night (unheard of), picture freezing and pixelating. Happened on all of our TVs (three) which are served from the same aerial.

ModeratorFreesat have already responded, they are aware, and are investigating.
Reading between the lines, and this is only my take, software probably not to blame.

InactiveHi Guys,
Long time no moan lol lol, YES, we are having same problems, yesterday, morning and afternoon, are well, looks like we are all back to the beginning yet again, sorry but, it HAS to be software issues if they have done an update and it is happening to this many people, can not be hardware or owner error, just my take IMHO…
Regards to all…….Tom…..
