The app is actually pretty decent. Well done to Humax.

Any ideas how to delete downloads and just the converted recording not the recording itself?

    Thanks

    I’ll draft FAQ’s later….but

To delete downloads in the app. swipe left on the programme you want to delete, this will reveal a delete option.

Everything works with the App. I can convert the recording for download to mobile, but it asks for a 3 digit code so I can download. Where do I find the 3 digit code?

    Thanks

I downloaded a recording from CH4 and everything works BBC recording converts but to download it asks for a 3 digit code and a locked padlock appears at the side of the recording. How do I unlock?

unless you have changed it it’s the default pin 000.

The content must be rated adult.

Graham, Thank you for your response. I had tried the default pin without success. Do you know where I can change the default Pin, Is this in the Aura or is it a BBC Pin?

Only on the box. Though I have seen a post where somebody had changed the PIN but only 000 still worked,

I found where to change the Pin in the Aura used 0000 to get in, reset it to 0000 and this time it worked. I was only downloading “Have I got news for you” so it must be adult rated! Thanks again.

Everybody seems fairly happy about the App. I downloaded it to my phone and it works. HOWEVER, I use a Windows 10 Laptop most of the time, and dislike the phone with its tiny screen! Is there no PC program? One was promised.

You can access the box webserver on a PC and also the new ftp server. If you want convert HD recordings the web server is the best option.

In a browser enter your box ipaddress followed by :8080

    eg 192.168.1.xx:8080

A tablet rather than a phone is the best option for off air viewing.

You can watch the content on a PC while it is creating the file. To copy it to your PC downloads folder click the download arrow when the transcode is completed.

Please give details of where a “PC program” was “promised”, and by whom.

The web applcation, WebControlIF, is better than the Humax App in that, with Android 11 and, I assume, above you can actually view downloaded files in the device Download folder.

Android 11 hides the App’s Download folder.
