InactiveIt’s transformed the way we watch tv. We can now watch, what we want, when we want and the option to skip adverts.

InactiveNo tapes, no fiddly settings – and it remembers to record all the episodes in a series!

InactiveI love the fact that some clever sods hacked the firmware so that all the nice functions outlawed by Freesat (because they are backward looking and stupid) are suddenly available.
It would be even better if Humax made available a full API (like with the old Topfield TF5800 – which was popular only because of this). This way if we don’t like the user interface we can simply add a replacement one.

InactiveI got my parents the HDR-FOX T2 last year ready for the HD switch over and they’ve enjoyed it so much after coming from multiple freeview boxes and recorders, the humax’s T2 just simply works for them and having used it myself setting it up and when I visit, I have to agree that both the hardware and software are solid and sound.
I’ve love to be able to get one myself, but the girlfriend says I have freeview in the TV and she won’t warrent me spending the extra cash on ‘something we already have’ … girls eh

Sure would be nice to have the features the hdr-fox-t2 provides tho.

InactiveHaving used TiVo for many years it was disapointing that it was no longer available in my area due to Virgin taking it over. However once I purchased my Humax HDR I found it an excellant replacement that allowed me to record multiple channels.

InactiveThe HDR-FOX T2 makes a great freeview recorder by adding a cheap USB laptop drive and unlike SkyHD the whole disc can be recorded on.

InactiveI love the fact that my 5 year old daughter can use it to find her favourite programs, yet its feature rich enough for a geek like me.
