Using Bargain Hunt (on BBC1 HD tomorrow) as an example, I can navigate to the programme in the EPG, select record and series link and it will set. If I look at the EPG the display is correct. If I skip forward a day the record icon is not displayed. If I go into the schedule it just shows tomorrow in the list with the correct rec/series icon. If I search for BH, in the broadcast list it shows tomorrow and Friday as set for recording.
From this I am deducing that the BBC are broadcasting episodes from numerous series (therefore having different crid’s).
They may have different programme crids but they all must have the same series CRID otherwise they would not finish up in the same folder.
It will work fine on the Foxsat.
I will set this up on a foxsat-HDR as the CF shows the crids used. THe BBC use the same crids on Freeview and Freesat.

InactiveBut for 99.99% of users (who neither know of nor care about crid’s), if they set-up a series recording (and the machine indicates it is set) and it then fails, they will immediately (and understandably) think its a fault.

ParticipantBargain Hunt Tuesday Same series CRID – Different Programme CRID. That’s how it has always worked except subscript. I well check the next day.

ParticipantNow baffled As you can see they are all repeats from December 2020.
So presumably the Prog crid is the original.
But the series crid is not the same on each reservation event.
Any ideas anyone. Presumably there is a third CRID the CF does not show.

The aura series recordings are not failing just not reliably being flagged in the epg to match the schedule.
Already acknowledged it’s not reliable and inconsistant. So there is no obvious pattern when it will work and when not.
Looking at the schedule shows the next events in each series up to the end of the current epg reach when displayed. So use the schedule not the epg to confirm until the issue is sorted.

InactiveGraham. On your Aura, if you cancel all previous schedules for Bargain Hunt and then set up a series recording using tomorrow’s (lunchtime) episode, are you saying that your schedule then shows mon/tue/wed/thu/fri/sat/sun as being set?
Because that absolutely doesn’t happen on my 4000t.

It should do. As soon as I can use the box I will try it out.
I can do same on FVP-5000T as well. Currently using this to watch Netflix.

Set series from Monday. Schedule only shows 2 events. Mon in 18hrs 12:15-13:00 and Friday in 4 days same times. Epg is also flagged on Monday and Friday same as the schedule.
I will watch this daily and report what happens.
5000T Schedule only shows 1 event. Epg same as Aura with flags on Monday and Friday.
Will also monitor what happens
The crid codes as shown on the Foxsat-HDR are different to what they used to be.
I reckon the BBC has changed the system and not told Humax or anyone else.
Going to set same on G2 Freesat box.

InactiveDo you now understand why the ordinary user would think that there is a problem with their box?

It’s a very recent issue. I have been recording Bargain Hunt on the 5000T for weeks for my better half.

InactiveFound another example by chance today relating to BakeOff.
Here’s a video of the issue I’m seeing. To be clear, I don’t care that the scheduled item shows a different name, but the EPG showing no info about the recording status is unhelpful of that is “as designed” or a bug if that’s not what should happen.

The FVP-5000T seems to have the same issue as well.
It should not happen. As you can see from this thread it happens on other other channels as well. The software release that you have was supposed to fix this. Clearly it did not. It does seem to be mainly on the BBC channels, hence trying to replicate on other Freeview and Freesat Kit.
