InactiveAs I said, the question of the number of tuners is a red herring. The 5000T never shows more than one tuner unless you are watching one channel and recording two others, all on different Mux.
What matters is the list of channels you can receive. Use the list I put in Post 26 for guidance. If you are still not seeing all Mux, then it is now probably a good time to retune again.

InactiveI’m starting to think there is something wrong with the box -I’ll take it back to Argos tomorrow, getting on for nearly 2 weeks without all my channels . No problem through my kitchen/bedroom tv’s from an ordinary aerial …?

InactiveHave you tried a full, preferably manual, retune in the last 24 hours? It would be wise before you take it back.

InactiveIt won’t let me – tuning isn’t highlighted- only spinal test?

InactiveIf you are recording something then the box removes certain options like recording/deleting etc

InactiveHave tried totally disconnecting the box from the mains and then reconnecting after a few seconds?
It can solve a lot of problems.

InactiveFirst thing I did A1944 That’s why I think I should take it back. It’s not the aerial from the roof has said all my other televisions work which leads me back to the humax box.

InactiveBear in mind, the 5000T has not been made for quite a while and is no longer showing on the Argos website for me, nor is any other Freeview recorder, so you may struggle to get a replacement if that is what you are hoping for.
