Everything would seem to indicate that the unit cannot get to the internet, I would avoid tuning off DHCP on the Humax as it is a good way on seeing it has acquired a IP address.
A reset on the router is the only thing I can suggest other than putting the PVR in standby and doing a power cycle.
DHCP is back on now. I have power cycled the PVR already. I haven’t tried a factory reset on the router yet, that’s the one thing I haven’t done as I was hoping it wouldn’t be necessary (and all other devices connected to it work fine).
Is the PVR connected by cable?
Yes, directly into the router.

A factory reset on the router did the trick. Thanks for the replies.
