Got mine today, not seeing any recordings from my 4000t but I can set recordings from the H3. Does anyone have a link for the beta firmware to see if this fixes my issue otherwise it’s going back.
Try a factory reset of the FVP 4000T first.

InactiveJust thought I’d add another disappointed voice to this thread.
I bought my H3 because Humax sent me an email saying it was available and I could watch my recorded shows in another room. That sounded like just what I wanted! My broadband isn’t great so I thought the H3 would be better than catch-up.
Well I haven’t watched any recorded programmes in the other room so far so it was a complete waste of money.
Fingers crossed for some software updates soon.

InactiveI have a new H3 and I am unable to get a reasonably clear picture on my tv. My tv is a Samsung UE46F6740 smart tv, and having tried all the different settings on the H3, including a factory reset, the only improvement I was able to get was by reducing the television screen size, then the picture became clearer. I have phoned Humax about it but haven’t got a solution. has anyone else had this problem?

My wife has gone out tonight so I’ve had chance to play with the FVP.
I did a factory reset, as suggested, and I was able to see the recordings on the H3.

Hopefully it will be reliable.
Having to redo schedule is a bit tedious but I’m happier now.

InactiveMy FVP updated to 1.01.49 the other day (22nd Nov) and since then I’ve been able to see my recordings using the H3 reliably.
I couldn’t watch the recordings with the previous version, despite limited success after a factory reset.

I can’t comment on live TV, but I streamed recordings to my h3 from the 4000t just this weekend.
What seems to be the trouble?

InactiveTonight, the YouTube app says ‘update’ on it but won’t open. When I click it, it flashes from update to ‘downloading 0%’ for a split second, then back to update.
I’ve ensured that the box is connected to the Internet.
I also checked Software update and it reports that the software is up to date with version 1.18.20.
I’ve also done a hard power off, so other than that, I guess I’ll just wait. It wasn’t like this yesterday, though.

ModeratorJust checked…
Mine appeared to update in a split second, no longer shows update and works OK?
Just powered it off and will check again in a few minutes..
Edit: Checked again a few minutes later (23:58) and update no longer showing so can only assume the app updated in that split second.

My H3 had run out of space. Waiting would have done nothing.
Thanks for checking.

InactiveHi all.
My H3 appears to have lost all its apps other than Netflix. Any ideas how to get them back?

Just booted mine and all is OK.
Try pressing the home button.
What software version do you have?

InactiveHi Barry and thanks for your reply.
Thankfully, I seem to have sorted it and have learnt something as a result.
I was having problems yesterday and tried a factory reset but it turned out to be an issue with our router not being connected to the Internet. Sorting that out and trying another reset of the H3 this evening brought back the apps.
It would therefore appear that all apps other than Netflix are downloaded and installed as part of the first boot after a reset. Presumably, if it can’t reach the server then it just skips this part of the process.
Further testing by resetting with and without Internet access seems to confirm this so hopefully this will be useful to anyone else with the same issue in the future.
