It may just work as it is
Connect up the new modulator as above. Connect the coax cable you removed from the Humax and connect it to the terminal on the new modulator marked rf in (you may need a adaptor).
If the two don’t interfere with each other than you don’t need to do anything else.
If they do simply increase the channel on the new modulator till you find one that allows the Humax to work properly.

InactiveAfternoon, done that is it wise to have all this attached to a signal booster as one of the kids games comes out in black & white (colour on main tv) or would this interfere with modulator etc?

You might need a attenuator or simply fit a a aerial switch. If you unplug the humax input is the games in colour on the remote set. You could also try changing the new modulator channel. It might be affecting the chroma in the signal. A bit of experimentation is needed.

Right I didn’t realise your main TV has AV in.
Try changing the new modulator 1 channel at a Time and retune the remote TV to the new channel.
On thing we know is the amplifier is not the issue.

Does the modulator have a switch that you can select PAL from. No colour suggests it’s not set to PAL. Perhaps contact the makers customer support.

ParticipantFound the manual It is preset to UK PAL I so colour should be no problem.
