    I agree – it would seem that the “TV/AV” is a toggle, however when I press the button nothing happens. On previous remotes I would press said button and then the functionality of the PVR remote would stop until the button were pressed again (e.g. switches back) – however I cannot see any effect of pressing this button.

    It appears you have the old version of the R/C on which the TV/AV button has no function.

    If you ring Humax they should send the newer type, given that that’s apparently what’s described in your manual.
