Have a look here :-
Looks interesting. Can anyone they can confirm this works on the Aura before I try it?

InactiveGreat news.
That suggests 4k is on its way.

InactiveDoes it? I read that page as being a hack of the APK which doesn’t give any insight into Netflix authorising the Aura to be an approved device.

InactiveYes, it suggests that someone will find a way round it.
My guess is that an official version is never going to happen.

I doubt Netflix will authorise Humax Aura, especially as they chose a Prime button haha.
Unless Humax meet all the criteria and jump through netflix quotas and hoops it won’t happen.

InactiveI think that once a way to root the Aura is available, anything will be possible.
Once rooted it will be easy to change the device ID or description to something recognized by Netflix as fully compatible and then the problem is over.
Only a matter of time.

InactiveTBH I’m just using the Aura as a PVR. I have little interest in the apps as they simply duplicate the ones I already have and use on my LG OLED. Dolby Vision on Netflix is just to good to use anything else. I also have a much larger choice of apps on my Apple TV 4K.

Yes it works, Netflix at HD with 1080p, no air mouse and also get to add it down the side channel tabs also.
Interesting and promising.
Did you modify the ESN or anything?

I tried following the article, but got stuck when it said “enter your ESN here”. Have tried multiple Android Apps on the Aura, but nothing I have found displays the ESN.

After a little trial and error with the ESN, I have it working now.

This “seems” complicated. Could someone go though the steps but how you would actually do it on the aura directly?

InactiveCan I get the Netflix hunters to look at my thread. It might be useful and I want to know how the Aurora Store app see the Humax as I said in the link. It might not work with the Humax but worth a try. The software has nothing to do with the box’s name but a Google faking store app that lets you pretend yo be another device and upload the apk that it makes of the Google store, not your login but a temporary one it creates. That way the world is your Oyster to get at other apps.
Trouble I have is I don’t know how it sees the Humax, that will be seen as default. Bit I need or an export out of the app… the later I would need to read what to do with that.
If you spoof to an Android TV box in the software you can find the Nvidia on that, there in, it’s Netflix app. That can be extracted out of the Google store. Using a VPN you can also locate regional apps in the store. E.g. RTE Android TV app rather than the phone app. Aurora Store app is very useful.

Back scratching in the Aurora Store can you see the All4 app. You side load the Aurora Store on the box to do all of this.
