InactiveI’m pleased someone else has this issue too! I was watching a recorded show from Dave ja vu this morning and it just jumped back to the begining, twice. Both times were when signal break up occured.
Had my aerial professionally fitted, some channels have a strong signal but Dave is pretty weak. 90% strength and 50% quality.
I’m on the 5th May Beta, but it occured on older versions too.
Should it really restart from the beginning due to poor signal?

InactiveI’ve been having this problem. Intermittently, not on all recordings

ParticipantI have had similar. Generally stopping replay and selecting resume works.

InactiveOne thing I found is don’t try and fast forward (the buttons near the top of the remote that play at 2x speed or higher) but use the skip buttons (the left and right arrow ones in the ring around the central OK button) to fully jump over the corrupted timestamp.
That usually used to work for me to get around such issues.

That work as well. But using the programmed skip keys is way faster. On the few times it does not work. Using resume gets you back very quickly.

InactiveI always use the skip function to whizz over adverts and it’s no less flakey than fast forward.

InactiveI would say that around 30% of my recordings re start fro the beginning when using the skip function.

InactiveThis is also a common problem for us – drives us mad!

Are you watching recordings that are still in progress or recordings that have completed?

InactiveI see it restarting to beginning when using skip occasionally. I have noticed it happens when I click the skip button, and the progress bar appears. The progress bar initially displays as 0 progress, and then goes to the correct position after a second or two. If I click the skip button again before the progress bar jumps to the correct position, the recording starts playing from the beginning.

These are know issues with the Aura. Ive reported to Colin @ Humax support and was told they would be fixed but here we are nearly a year later with nothing. I have this issue every day, multiple times per day. It’s infuriating…

InactiveI also have this and have found that it only / always happens if something else is recording when you start watching!
Very annoying but do find if you stop the playback and restart it seems to work?
