You should be able to resize the photo by reducing the image size to around 1200 x 600 pixels.

InactiveI get the same effect as Grahams picture, Pink screen, menu smaller and in the L/H side top of screen
I’ve been in touch with Humax, but they want to blame everyone else. I have tried 3 cables so far, I used another telly with the same intermittent results.HDMI works OK for all my other connections without faults at all. This is now the second machine with the same problem. they have indicated that they will not exchange another if this so called fault turns up again.I am awaiting contact from them to try a new machine!!! Turning off and disconnecting for a min of 10 seconds resolves the problem for the time being. However the fequency of the fault appearing is increasing.

InactiveModern TV’s and especially ‘Smart’ TV’s take some time to boot.
I always turn the TV on first and then the HDR-1000S a few seconds later (about 5). If I do not do this the TV misses the HDMI handshake to select resolution etc.

InactivePoint taken, as one of my TVs takes a while to boot up, so allowing for this each time still results in the error occurring.Again it’s an intermittent fault, so difficult to pin down.

InactiveSame problem with my Humax HDR 1100s, all of a sudden the HDMI connection now gives a pink screen with no sound. Terribly frustrating as it wasn’t a cheap unit.
Having to resort to analogue connection now (which itself is causing the picture to randomly change the aspect ratio every few minutes for a split second)
I wish there there more Freesat box manufacturers out there to choose from.

InactiveMost probably a cable problem or cable seating problem.
If a HD channel was active – does changing the Homax’s sound output to stereo solve the soubngd problem? (if it was set to multi channel).
