InactiveI had an update message come up this morning when I powered up….optioned yes but no visible indication of an install taking place….mind is first on my 1100s I’ve seen.
Went to check system Id and think it said v3.00.18. Do we know the designated version ID for the update?
Went to then do a system update and it said there was none to apply. Technically I guess this is right if the one it prompted me to say it was doing worked ok.
AHh just looked at on demand and there is a Netflix logo and option which does work.
But when I optioned to do a manual update all it came up with was a page saying things like ‘frequency’ ‘transponder’ and all sort of other trickery…..no list of old/new software versions.

InactiveJust checked…is definitely V 3.00.18

InactiveDo we know if it contains anything more substantial than the Netflix option?
Understand that is interesting to many but hopefully the update contains more fixes and refinements covered in many threads on the site. Just curious.

InactiveAhh sorry Barry, see it now….cheers.
Well one successfully applied here without incident. Just to note it’s a 1TB 1100s
Look forward to seeing the release notes.

InactiveOk I have the new SW. It already loaded in over night, with a notication on participation in a feedback scheme. No recordings or planned recordings lost. For some reason my 1100s 1tb seems slightly quicker in transitions. Anyhow. Netflix loads quickly (quicker than my old tivo or new samsung tv). It works which is great. However, ive noticed the app on my iphone and ipad doesnt show the current playing picture anymore. Netflix isnt integrated into the freesat app either. I hope it comes.
