then why box doesnt switch On with unplugged hdmi ?
now, i’ll switch the box off, disconnect hdmi, turn the box on, then off and leave it like this till the morning.
Well, same story: box doesnt switch on with remote in the morning.
So its the box, not tv to blame.
Any more ideas ?

Removing the HDMI lead will not change anything if the unit is waiting for a HDMI-CEC on command.
Leaving HDMI-CEC disabled on the TV and the HDR-1000S and TV in standby Power cycle both for 60 seconds.
I had a similar problem with my setup (a Philips TV, however HDMI-CEC on different Philips models work perfectly). Now I find that it is important to switch on the TV and few seconds before the HDR-1000S. I think this is due to the TV not being fully booted up when the HDT-1000S sends it’s HDMI signal to the TV.
Ive got HDMI-CEC off on tv’s menu, so why does the box still ignores remote ? And why humax is waiting for HDMI-CEC command if its off ? How do i break that wait ? how do i make them as 2 separate units as it is with ps3 and as it was with sky box ?
Btw, yesterday, when i switched humax OFF for 30 mins, the tv was left ON (watched some stuff on ps3) and humax still ignored the remote after 30 mins.
How olds the box? If it’s within the warranty why not just take the box back, tell them it’s faulty and get a replacement?
I bought it from humaxdirect.co.uk as a GRADE A refurbished box in march, but set it up only couple weeks only ago. So i’m dealing with them also to find the solution.
If we fail, i’ll ask for replacement, as long as they send me the new box first, rather than me sending mine and waiting for replacement … I can’t be without tv while world cup is on !
