Removing the HDMI lead will not change anything if the unit is waiting for a HDMI-CEC on command.
Leaving HDMI-CEC disabled on the TV and the HDR-1000S and TV in standby Power cycle both for 60 seconds.
I had a similar problem with my setup (a Philips TV, however HDMI-CEC on different Philips models work perfectly). Now I find that it is important to switch on the TV and few seconds before the HDR-1000S. I think this is due to the TV not being fully booted up when the HDT-1000S sends it’s HDMI signal to the TV.
