    Did you check the WiFi extender is configured correctly as an extender and not as a router.

    Something is active on 192.168.0.1 the 3ms response time does not seem like a cable connection see my <1ms response time.

    If you reset the router un-power the extender first until the router boot is finished and finally repower the Humax and post the Humax network info.

    when i posted the ping results it was as a wifi signal from my netbook

    not via cable I dont know if that makes a difference I havnt a clue have i thanks

    Surely it IS the router on 192.168.0.1. The puzzle is where did the 192.0.2.100 (post #5) IP address come from?

    I took out the wifi extender and reset router to factory settings and we have a wifi connection on the humax only thing is ON DEMAND IS NOT AVAILABLE ,is that what you can get

    My guess is that the WiFi extender is a multifunction device that was in router mode rather than extender mode.

    If you use the extender again check the manual.
