InactiveI had a go at that but I’m pretty clueless with this kind of thing and had no joy setting my Talk Talk Router up. I tried following some online advice on port forwarding but I just kept getting invalid IP address. There were rather too many spaces to fill and none simply marked host name/ IP address. Guess I’ll have to wait for Humax but I recall they took a couple of weeks last time something similar happened.

InactiveNo, it’s not port forwarding. Look for something like DNS settings. It should just allow you define a host with a name and IP address.

InactiveI’ve been to the DNS tab but it doesn’t give any option to manually add anything else. Added to that the whole page keeps freezing and I have to keep logging out and back in to look for another route. There is a tab for Dyn DNS whatever that is.

InactiveWould anyone know if re-installing the May 22 Firmware update would fix the issue?

InactiveRe above post – didn’t work but I only re installed it rather than do a factory reset then install

InactiveSame here, Netflix works but none of the other on demand services do. Very annoying especially since the fairly recent issue where the keypad on Youtube disappeared for weeks. Sort it out Humax!

InactiveI think Anthony Jewell is right in that it’s a DNS error. Unfortunately, most household routers don’t let you implement local DNS (probably for good reasons – see this 6-year old post https://security.stackexchange.com/questions/133043/modify-the-hosts-file-of-the-router-and-redirect-trafic)
So I guess we just have to wait

InactiveAlso got the same issue. Glad to find this forum as I thought I was going mad and couldn’t figure out what could have caused this!
Humax, please sort this!

InactiveExactly the same problem.
I’ve been a long suffering HB-1100S user since May 2020.
It’s not going to be high on their priority list, but remain
cautiously optimistic that it will be resolved by year end.

iPlayer is up and working on my Humax box since this morning, so they’ve clearly fixed it.

InactiveThank you to all those people who contributed to getting Humax to find a fix to the recent issue with the HB-1100S.
In particular I wish to thank eastwater for his contribution. From the very start you explained in detail just what the issue was.
