    Been there, done that… several times, it makes zero difference!

    You are cheering me up no end! You seem to be able to use the greyed out icons – I cannot select them :-(

    Another idea might be to re-install the software. I see I can download the latest release from https://uk.humaxdigital.com/support/?product_id=70&curr_page=sw_release

    Apologies, I didn’t mean to dishearten you, its that I am so frustrated with the 4000/5000. If you haven’t done a factory reset yet, then maybe it will work for you. These boxes seem to be so temperamental, with some working better than others. Coming from a 100% reliable and problem free HDR-FOX t2, it really is a shock to the system… literally!

    Easiest thing to do first is to take a photo of your schedule, it makes it a lot easier to enter them after you have done a factory reset/new software install. You will not lose your recordings unless you chose the option to.
