Is Smart Search the regular search?
Which I presume searches everything now and over the next 7 days across all broadcast TV?
Thanks
It’s the one where you press the magnifying glass then OK. It’s called Smart Search in the manual. And, yes, it searches everything for now and the next 7 days in broadcast TV.

InactiveThanks. I figured it’s the main search except catch up hasn’t been added.
I forgot the Youview one even searches across apps like Netflix and TalkTalk TV.

Yeah, plenty but none that I could repeat on open forum, see your PM’s

I just performed a search for a film which is on Film4 next week, ‘Lone Survivor’. I entered the search ‘lone s’ and it returned 2 instances of the film, one next tuesday and the other for an hour later (film4 +1). It did not, however, return this film until I’d entered the whole string of characters as shown above.

Edit
It did in fact find the program after entering the first 3 letters. I was fooled by the way it is presented.
