Ok – Sorry for any confusion caused, this is the current state of play:
•Normal Users : Firmware Version 09.14 – Apps TvInput 49, TvApp 79, customizer 13
•Beta Users (w/o firmware) : Firmware Version 09.14 – Apps TvInput 49, TvApp 79, customizer 15 (Recent Apps)
•Beta Users (w firmware) : Firmware Version 09.16 – Apps TvInput 49, TvApp 82, customizer 15

This isn’t a Play Store update, it’s pushed down from Humax.
Barry, there’s no notification. Is there no way to initiate this from our device?
OK, thanks – I presumed when the thread title was “Aura App update” that it was an app
So we’ve got:-
– firmware
– Android core system
– apps that come from Humax only, not via Play Store for core Aura functionality
– apps that come via the Play Store for core Freeview functionality (e.g. On Now – TV Guide, FVP Config Authority, MDS Client)
– apps that come via the Play Store for core non-Freeview functionality (e.g. Chromecast Built In, Android TV Core Services)
– apps that come via the Play Store for non-core functionality (e.g. Disney+, iPlayer)
– plus the option for side loaded apps
Quite confusing for the average user!!

How do you check that, for instance, Apps TvInput 49 has been updated?

How do you check that, for instance, Apps TvInput 49 has been updated?
As soon as I posted that I knew it was not of much use to anyone 🙄
Settings, Apps….
For TVApp read Freeview Live TV note the figure after 1.01_
Settings Apps, See all apps, scroll to bottom Show system apps
For TvInput read Freeview and again note figure after 1.00_
customizer note figure after 1.02_
Please, please, please fix the storage leak on IOS.
If you convert a recording to mobile and download it to the phone, when you delete the recording on the Aura at the TV and the Aura app later syncs with the recorder, it deletes the recording entry but not the downloaded recording.
As the entry is gone, there is no way to delete the download and so the only way is to delete the app and then re-install.
Very annoying
I don’t have the latest version of the Aura app but it does need a lot of work.
* On launch, guide takes a long time to load
* On now, icons take ages to pull through images and would be good to have another option of displaying
* Recordings screen needs smaller icons or another option of displaying recordings
