    Since retuning after the update I am not seeing the usual off-air text displayed on BBC4 HD before 7pm and on GB News on channel 236. There is just the message ‘The channel is not available.

    Tonight post update, when I select the home page I just get a black screen with the tv pip moving to bottom right.

    I had this problem when my second box updated to the Google tv.

    Took several resets to get it to come back to life

    White freeview play button, then moved over to top right power button, and reboot from the drop down.

    Took several goes and on rebooting went through setup as if it had done a full factory reset.

    Eventually everything worked as it should. And subsequent reboots just did as it should “reboot”

    Ok. Reset = reboot via menu. Worked first time for me. It was not a factory reset. Just did a restart.

    The new recent apps feature works when I long press apps but they aren’t remembered over night

    Thanks for letting us know Barry – FYI, I’ve juust checked / rebooted and I’m yet to see the update on my Aura.

    Is there a way to force the update to download?

    If you haven’t already, try rebooting the Aura.

    That happened to me, pull out the rear power plug and wait about 10 seconds and replace it. That restored the home screen for me. No update notification but after checking it had updated without any user input.

    I am getting the black screen with the digital HDCP protection since 05.05.21 update. Just the bottom pics, after power on an up a few times manage to get video, heip.
