InactiveWell Humax already produce a UHD PVR for BT Youview, so I wouldn’t think it would be a big leap for them to produce a Freesat version.

REPASSAC – 3 hours ago » I am speculating that Humax will be a manufacture of the G3 unit and that freesat will continue to design the U.I.
Exactly why I’ll be waiting till 2 years after announce to buy.
Well the streaming content around the house will make me a early takeruper.

InactiveGraham,
My French is rather basic but does improve after a few glasses of wine.

Rather hoping that you can stream 30 secs or so behind real time recording like on the Foxsat.

You might find a use for your scd lnb if it follows the multi-tuner Humax Icord model.

InactiveYes indeed. It looks a very nice unit.
Germany seems to have a lot of products not sold in the U.K. AC2400 Router, Home automation products, ETC.

InactiveIs there a specific reason you want an AC2400, versus, say, an AC2600? I’ve had the Netgear D7800-100UKS for two years now. There’s even an AC5300 to be available soon. Both on Amazon.co.uk
As for Home Automation, again look at Amazon.
I’m in Germany regularly. There’s nothing there that beats the UK on any front.

InactiveRubbish, the latest stb is streets ahead.

InactiveWas that rubbish to everything I said? Or a particular STB, recently announced? After all you are the one that anguishes over semantics.

InactiveI was referring to Humax Germany but unfortunately omitted to mention Humax, Sorry.

InactiveIf you were referring to the Humax iCord Evolution, then yes it has some very nice features. The ability to send two different streams to any suitable mobile device is particularly attractive. The typical price in Germany is Euro 437.99, which converts at current rate into £392. This price may have dissuaded Humax from launching it in the UK, plus of course the lack of a Freesat-style EPG. I’ll be in Germany in January and check it out at Saturn.
If not that model then what?

InactiveYes, I was Graham referred to it in #20 and wondered if the design would be used as a starting point by Humax for the G3 unit.

I think it’s discontinued. Doesn’t seem to be a replacement. Full use of all the tuners requires a SCD LNB.
