InactiveIt’s definitely an issue and partial solution for certain box types/models. Some work some don’t!

Clearing the cookies restored the backwards epg. I will leave it with the Google DNS settings to see how it goes.
Question. How do you clear the cookies on a Humax box? And can you clear the cache, assuming there is one?
In the past when I tried to use Google’s DNS, my BT Home Hub blocked access to it. I haven’t tried recently. I might give it a go on on my ‘sacrificial’ laptop.

I can’t speak of any other box, but on the 5000T, you clear cookies by:
Going into the main Freeview Play page (using the “F” button).
Then select the Players tab.
At the top right is an “i” icon, select that.
You then should be on the page headed “INFO” for clearing cookies.
Press “+” (not OK) then follow the prompts to finish.
Re the DNS, don’t forget that you cannot change it on the 5000T’s menu when you are connected by WiFi.

Yes, over 24 hours ago, but caution, we may not be out of the woods yet, it is being described as temporary resolution:

InactiveThe iplayer is back working for us (FVP-5000T).

InactiveJust a quick thanks to everyone who posted during this lengthy shutdown. Without this forum I would have gone crazy trying to work out what was going on. Good to know that if this temporary fix crashes again I can find out what’s happening here. Humax customer support finally emailed me today in response to my query on 3rd Oct. to let me know that they are aware of a problem and working on a resolution!!!

InactiveIs your Youtube working too?
I get “incorrect link” for Iplayer, but then I try again and it works.
Youtube still does’t work.

InactiveFVP-4000T here. Iplayer is fine for us, but YouTube is still just the grey templates. I would email humax support, but you all say they’re rubbish.
Is there another freeview provider we can get a decoder box from?
