Inactivehi I’ve tried the disc clean up still nothing. I’ve heaps of recordings and don’t want to lose if I format the hard drive. Any other suggestions?
Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

If it’s caused by disc corruption in the buffer then your only option would be a format.

Unless you use a different name on DS then at least one other has the issue

By not being able to pause or rewind live tv

I don’t know if this would work at all, but you could try pressing record while watching live tv, let it record for a few mins and then delete it.

InactiveHi Gonzo,

InactiveIt seems you have 3 choices, 1) just put up with it and live in hope it will sort itself out, 2) watch as much recordings as possible and then format, 3) grab the bull by the horns and just format.
When you unplugged from mains, how long was it before you plugged back in again?

Inactiveoh bu**er, I have heaps of recordings. Will I lose the ones I have already saved (kept)?
When I switched off I left it for half an hour just to make sure

ParticipantWatch a live programmer for say 15mins after it started and then push the record button. How long is the recording in your recordings list ?

InactiveHi Graham,
Thanks I’ve just tried this and now I notice that the recordings are only picking up from the time I pressed record rather that the whole show, even though I watched it from the start but recorded part way through. Any other advice?
Thanks

Inactivecorrupt buffer for sure – only solution is to reformat and yes you will loose recordings.

I had that exact problem over Xmas and tried a Disk Clean and Factory Reset, neither fixed it. I resigned myself to doing a Disk Format and losing all my recordings. However, I left it for later and very strangely the problem went away by itself. No idea why.
