InactiveThanks tmwsccsh for posting the Aura upgrade instructions.
I’ve tried following them three times this afternoon, but still no joy.
The box shows I’m still on Version 1.00_64_240816_cc218e48d
So I’ll leave the box on for now, and just be patient.
Good to hear there’s been some progress on this problem after more than 5 weeks.
Regards, goldberg

InactiveYeah if I bypass the Aura and put the aerial direct in the tv BBC and ITV channels are correct in sd and HD and itv1 works its not a black screen. Even using the Aura app I can watch itv1 sd live no issues but if I stream to Aura it’s a black screen but stream it to tv it works fine

Sandy Heath here too and I get the same news channels as Razordogz. Never have figured out why. Perhaps this will fix it. However – if I watch the news on my TV (i.e. without the Humax switched on), I get the ‘right’ news on both SD and HD. So it is being broadcast on HD.

InactiveAh, well. Three days gone by and no sign of the fix for me. Anyone else had any luck?

InactiveStill waiting for the update to be pushed out

InactiveStill no sign of the 1.00_65_241003_3c97b102b update, details of which were posted on this forum on 9th October.
Does anyone know if there’s an option on the Aura user interface to force a pending update to be installed ?
Thanks, goldberg

InactiveI suspect that the download is for testing only and accessible only from units with particular serial numbers. Unless you can get Humax to add your serial number to those permitted to perform the download for testing I suspect you, like me, will have to wait until testing is completed and an unrestricted version of the fix is made available. I believe the person who posted the instructions said that he had provided his serial number.
Impatiently waiting for the fix to be made ganerally available, yours, GJK.

InactiveI’ve provided my serial number twice I got the first update which worked for 1 evening and they’ve not sent me a second update, I’ve sent them a copy of my receipt and asking for a full refund I’ve had enough. I did ask about a refund before they said they can but they have a new update which we’ll get soon bur I’m fed up of waiting now

InactiveI kept emailing every week for an update – maybe my persistence got me further up the listing?

InactiveI e-mailed Humax Support over the weekend for an update on the ITV1 / ITV3 problem affecting users in the Sandy Heath region, and received the following reply from Pauline:
Quote:We have a software that is currently under testing and once the relevant department finalizes on it, the new version will be released soon.Yet more patience needed, it seems !

InactiveI’ve just had this reply
Hi Graham
Thank you for contacting Humax.
We recently just got word that the new version update should start to roll out this week.

InactiveThere was no update by early evening, but after leaving the Aura on for an hour or so the update has been installed, and ITV1 and ITV3 are now working.
Even better, recordings made after the problem started are also viewable.
Good news at last.

InactiveWhen I switched mine on this evening it went through a long boot sequence but still did not show channels 3 and 10. The old Freeview app dated August was still there. After switching off for a couple of minutes then on again a couple of times channels 3 and 10 started working for the first time since late August. The Freeview system app had updated to 3rd October date.
Fingers crossed.
