InactiveFurther to my post, I’ve had a firmware update (I think, not 100% sure), which has resulted in a change in the display output ;
HD Fury reports :
4K50 422 BT2020 12b SDR 594MHz 2.2
So an improvement but still not HDR.
I’ve also noticed that the upscaling output isn’t great, e.g. 1080i -> 4k50. My TV (Sony ZD9) does a better job, so I now set the output to 1080p50 and allow the TV to do the rest.
So not an all in one device as I had hoped. They need to fix HDR at a minimum (assuming that I’m not doing something stupid)…
… which incidentally is the inverse of Freeesat’s Arris box (that has HDR permanently enabled)!

Amazon UHD content makes my TV change to HDR mode.
Interesting. I’ll look into it tomorrow. I’ve had no success so far ..

InactiveZenmate VPN seems to function properly as I started it and then tried an IPTV app and it worked.
Noticed you cannot have wifi and ethernet connected at same time.
My LG tv shows great signal strength when connected direct to the aerial. Same connection to the Humax box shows a much weaker signal strength and has drop-outs on some channels. HD channels even disappeared at one point. Never an issue with the TV. Doesnt tune as many channels in either, about 9mshort it would seem.
Volume low on some channels.
With BBC iplayer/catchup/restart on green missing, this getting a 7/10 score at the moment. Will persevere for a few days more then may be returning it.

Was the vpn test when on ethernet?
I have one more to try, but this was actually a common issue on android tv os in past also on some devices.

Received mine 1 hour ago from RS. Easy to set up, make sure you use a correct spec HDMI lead, and the batteries in the right way round (since when has black been positive !) fairly quick, first big fail
BBC iplayer does not work. Other players do You tube 4K great. Lots of options in setup.
Iam going to play now
All set up correctly. Had to send it back. My Fox T2 picture is fantastic. Mifgt have been a faulty unit. I will try the Aura and see.

InactiveI’ve set-up the Aura today and I have to say I’m impressed so far. Very quick and seems stable.
The only issues/niggles noticed so far (apart from BBC players) are:
1. The Signal Test screen only ever shows Tuner 1 even when others are in use during multiple recordings on different muxes. I should imagine it should show all 3.
2. Would be nice if the transparency on the Recordings/Play screen could be adjusted or switched off for better text clarity.
3. There is no option I can find to start playing a recording from the beginning if it was stopped part way through.
4. The simplest APP I have found to access DLNA content on a NAS is the VLC media player.
5. The tuners are either less sensitive, or have automatic attenuation. I need a variable attenuator to reduce the signal strength down from 100% on the 5000T. The Aura has 100% quality but is around 80-90% strength on the full power muxes. Both are running off the same feed.
6. The initial automatic tune missed Channel 55 (COM7) completely and I had to manually tune to add it. Don’t know why it was missed as signal quality is 100% and strength around 48%.

Can I ask what information you have In Freeview Play Preferences – System info ?

It is thought that unused tuners are powered down to save power.
Start a recording on 3 different Mux and check again

Point 1 of his post says that he is doing exactly that.

InactiveOk little workaround for bbc iPlayer.
This works on the box as standalone app, it’s android tv os version.
Doesn’t work in freeview play, or in guide.
But may help people until they sort the official one.
Edit – pictures not uploaded for some reason
This is the apk version I sideloaded and installed, it works fine for all content including live channels when inside the app, restart a program when in iplayer itself.
As above not via FreeView Play or in official guide.
This is name of the apk
bbc.iplayer.android_0.4.3-43_minAPI26(nodpi)_apkmirror.com
