InactiveMy COM 7 channel is there but when I tune to a station served by it, it can take a few moments for the signal strength to register and the station to appear. During this time it says no signal.

ModeratorTo those who have responded so far to my request re Com 8 reception.
Request from Humax Towers.
What loader version do your units have?
July 24, 2015 at 5:49 pm #61144Anonymous
InactiveLoader version 1.01.13
COM8; I have the two QVC channels.
Just did a retune on chan 32, as I was there, and all the COM7 channels have come back. Aaarrrgh!
It’s been raining a lot today.

ModeratorThanks.
1.01.13 is the software version not loader version which it what Humax are after, should be something like 1.04

Inactive1.04 for me

Barry
My loader version is 1.04
I also just did a retune and COM7 is back! First time I’ve been able to receive COM7 since I kicked off this thread back in April. Any idea as to the cause of its disappearance and sudden return?

ModeratorThanks for the replies, will pass up the line to Humax Towers.
Humax are still investigating – I think they as baffled as we are to be honest.

InactiveSorry, 1.04
So staggered at Chan 32 being back I read the wrong line.

InactiveOh boy….here we go again!
COM7 is down on my Humax. Exactly the same problem as when I kicked this topic off back in April. To summarise TV receives COM7 channels ok Humax box does not.
As we never got to the bottom on why the channels dissapeared back in April to reappear in July, there was always the risk of it happening again and guess what…it’s happened again.
I presume all those affected last time are similarly affected this time around.

InactiveYes, I noticed it had gone again last night.
