New software – probably V20 will be available for download very soon, and OTA is planned for this version…so classed as an official release, not Beta.

Whilst I am aware of the fixes etc, will wait to see what is actually published.

Nice heads up Barry, what both for the HDR and HD, at the same version?

Awaiting final confirmation of version numbers and release notes, but the news I received earlier was both would have updates.

Thanks. Downloading now. The site does say it’s an ‘Official Release’. Does that mean that it’s NOT a beta?

Correct, this is an official release, and will be available OTA soon as well.

At some point during the Beta trial, my HD’s ID changed from 806C.7000 to 806C.7001. I now find that when I try to update to 1.02.20, I get an error E-Id.

Is this to be expected, and is there a way round it?

I have just updated, but found that my usual USB flash drive would not work this time, so I tried a different one, this worked straight away. :-)

    OTA now scheduled 6 – 8 July

    http://www.dtg.org.uk/industry/download_schedule.php

    To Be repeated:

    13 – 15 July

Edit 11 July: The repeat mentioned above may be cancelled, not because of a Humax problem, but because OTA’s that update multiple devices might be causing an issue for another Manufacturers product!!

Further to this, Humax are now sending instructions via email to all those registered as skyplayer testers.
