InactiveI see that current HDR Fox T2’s are being shipped with 1.03.06 software, Does this version allow a working account to be created for the new TV portal ‘My Apps.’ feature, e.g. ‘Manage App. Account’ on the HDR?
Also any idea when this version will be available for via download / OTA?

ModeratorYou can register devices, but cannot add/remove apps from them.
Will be available as soon as… there are no current plans to OTA this verison, but that of course could change.

InactiveO.K. thanks Barry, so there is no advantage in HDR-Fox T2 owners registering their device while running ver. 1.03.06 or below

ModeratorNo advantage whatsoever at the moment.

InactiveAnother quick question about version 1.03.06, I have seen a few reports that recently purchased HDRs which were supplied with 1.03.06 don’t appear to be down gradable to 1.02.32 for some reason, could it be that these new HDRs have a hardware change that will only work with the new firmware?

ModeratorNeed further info from those having issues downgrading.
What loader version was on board before attempting the downgrade, and what version after?

InactiveHi Barry, I am trying to find out the before and after loader versions of users who are trying to downgrade from 1.03.06 to 1.02.32, but the users have returned their units for a replacement. The symptoms appear to be that after a downgrade the unit appears to reboot and works O.K. but all stored TV channels are lost and a re-tune ‘fails’ e.g. finds no channels

Moderatorezra – thanks, returning is the only option at the moment.
I am wondering if when downgrading firmware the loader is also being changed, have a suspicion that loader was included in one of the earlier updates, but not 100% sure.

InactiveAh O.K.Barry so, if I’m understanding correctly, the new units are supplied with 1.03.06 and Loader 7.34 but there could be a problem if, when downgrading to say 1.02.32, loader 7.32 is also installed, because the new units need to retain loader 7.34

Moderatorezra – My thinking exactly, will be discussing with Humax Towers tomorrow hopefully.

But our box was updated to 1.02.32 using the download from the Humax Beta web site and is still on Loader 7.30 so I don’t think the loader is included.
