Just had a look at the On Demand section of my HDR1010S box and noticed the icon for ITVPlayer is missing. All the others are there and operating correctly.
If I highlight the box/press enter the player starts up – but no icon.
Anybody else experiencing this?
Maybe another freesat server problem?
Disappearing icons have been reported many times, they will always come back if left alone for long enough (so far anyway
)And yes Freesat server issue, delivering icons is not really a high priority operation.

Yes I’ll leave it switched on a bit longer – hopefully it’ll repopulate. Just find it odd – it’s the first time it’s happened with just the one.

Usual advice is leave it on BBC 1 (perhaps they have express icon delivery
)
Had it on constantly since my last post (even done a reset) all other on demand icons present and correct except ITVPlayer.
Think it must be freesats end.
Missing on my box too….
Will see if its there in the moro.

Same via wifi or wired connection although didn’t expect that would make a difference.

As can be seen from those links 24 November is touted as launch date, will be interesting to see if it appears on FVP models.

Thanks Barry – I too was wondering if it had something to do with the launch of ITV hub.
Just checked and it’s back there on my box.
When I highlight it it’s now called ‘ITV Hub’ although it doesn’t yet appear to offer anything new.

I can confirm that the new ITV Hub has just appeared on my FVP-4000T.
