ModeratorThere is a known problem whereby the second of consecutive timers on the same channel can fail under certain circumstances.
In your case as the programmes are scheduled for the same time each day instead of using series record timers you could try scheduling them as weekday repeat timers.

InactiveMorning Barry with the box being new to me and with having touble with the old 9150T I have not used series link yet did not know if it could be trusted so the timers were all set seperate, and it is missing the second one but it is only missing it on chan 4 my timers set on pick tv are OK, should I send it back, I’m ver impressed with the way my old 9150T now loads the guide a MIRACLE

ModeratorI still think you are falling foul of the known consecutive timer problem.
My bad for not explaining properly as it would also affect timers set as one off’s (seperate)
I’ll set the same timers on one of my 9300’s

InactiveMorning Barry how did you get on recording four in a bed/come dine
October 8, 2013 at 10:57 am #47235Barry
ModeratorLast nights both recorded.
Will proably take a couple of days/attempts before I can draw any conclusions.

InactiveThanks don’t know if it matters but I’m in Sunny Darwen and we use a rubbish repeater our arials are turned and we only get a handfull of channels, this is why I put up with my 9150T playing up, I did not realise the new software would make it work so perfectly, and just to add another dimesion, the 9150T recorded both last night the new 9300T did not, come dine missing but it was still in the schedule, even though it did not record I have to delete it

InactiveHi barry where does that leave me all this week my 9300T missed come dine with me at 5.30pm when I switch the PVR on at about 8pm it’s not recorded but it’s still in the schedule any ideas, I’m getting round it by recording it at 6.30pm +1 but not ideal. the machine as the software dated 2012 so must be up to date

ModeratorTwo things you could try:
1. Leaving the unit on when timers are due, if you already do that then…
2. Try setting Weekday repeat timers.
Is 1.00.26 the software version on the 9300?

InactiveMorning Barry my PVR is at home but I think the software is 20012 and it’s 28 I think, have I grounds to complain to Humax it’s not ideal leaving it switched on seems poor on a new machine, is it my machine or a Humax thing

ModeratorWorked all week for me, both as individual timers, and set as a weekday repeat.
Trying the same this week with individual timers again, and series link this time.
Try the weekday repeat, ie set one timer for each programme and then edit them.

InactiveCheers Barry sounds complicated, but I will give it a go, I may consider trying it this week again and if it fails, I will leave the timers in the schedule and then Humax can see they are there but no recordings, I was hoping for a pain free Humax experience this time, looks like I might be wrong

ModeratorSetting weekday repeats:
Highlight the timer and press OK.
Scroll down to Repeat, once highlighted, right arrow until Weekday appears, scroll down, highlight save and press OK – job done.
