InactiveHi everyone, another newbie here with a problem,
In a attempt to view MOTO GP on Servus TV I have set up a dish with a universal LMB with a single cable to the No 1 intake on the rear of the box it is a stand alone set up with no other inputs.
I did first attach it to my other dish also a stand alone system with a out of contract Sky HD box to enable me to access the Non freesat switching option then back to the new dish on Astra 1 19.2.
A auto channel search brought up numerous German channels including Eurosport
however the Servus channel was not there.
I tried the manual tune option and perused the Transponder ,and with the user input
11303H 22000 FEC 3/4 it showed no channel then I tried 12663 22000 5/6 same again
( I got the figures from Satpax .com).
So has any body a idea how to proceed ?
Please make it simple I havn’t got a teenager in the house to take care of Tech things

InactiveI think you will find that the Servus Austrian chanels are encrypted.

InactiveEvery thing I have read on line suggests that it is free to air,
in information from other sites one post says the channel is available through his TV’s in built tuner but his more modern Humax box will not find it.
Still puzzled????

InactiveIf you look at the kingofsat website, at the top left of the page there is a search option this will give you the details. Servus TV Austria is part of the Sky Deutschland Package and is encrypted. i suspect that the MOTO GP is behind the paywall. I will try on my box’s late, will post my resaults.

InactiveI have looked at Kings of Sat and if you search free to air it brings up 2 options for Servus .
I will have another go tomorrow .

InactiveMy 6 year old Samsung tv was able to pull in both frequency’s.
My Foxsat HDR could only pull in 12663 by entering all details, no matter which
method of entry l tried .

InactiveSo are you saying that you were able to pull in Servus on 12663?
If so can you lay out how you did it ?
I did have a look at purple sat and found it helpful but I already have the fixed
antenna option and it is receiving 19.2 Astra 1.
It just won’t pull in Servus .
I need a walk through in how to proceed .

InactiveThis way works for me.
Go to manual tune
Leave the satellite on Freesat 28
select Frquency, left click to get to user defined or 0
enter 112663. Drop down to polorization leave on auto,
Change symbol rate, right click to cycle to 22000
the signal strength and quality bars should change.
Drop down to Save (leave transmission and FEC alone)
Change Channel type to TV
Hit Search.
you should find 9 channels including Servus TV
Save, as you proberbly know these will be in the 5000 range.
Hope this works for you,

InactiveOK so here again,
I have tried your instructions when inputting the transponder 12663 the signal strength and quality are both good, however when dropping down to change the Symbol Rate from 27000 to 22000 the signal strength falls to zero?
I can’t understand what I am doing wrong

InactiveOnly use Tuner input 1 .
Nothing in the loop through or Tuner 2 input
Make sure that the box is set 28.East not 19.2 east.
Make sure that Menu Settings tab shows Freesat.
Clicking left and right where shown is important.
Do you have the custom Firmware?
