Inactivedoes the humax deal with 4K TV’s OK?
It’s pretty good with my Pioneer 5090, but ready to replace with 4K now.

It’s the HDR 1100s
I have a FVP-5000T and a HDR-1100S. So should cover most bases.

I also have a HDR-FOX-T2 – Richer Sounds have an excellent offer on the LG 55″ model at the moment.
I also have a HDR-FoX-T2

Thank you, I’d like to know.

InactiveMy box works well with my FZ802 (4K OLED Panasonic). TBH I rarely need to use the Humax now as I have attached a small USB HD to the TV and record direct to that. The TV doesn’t do series link though so Humax is still useful for that. The upscaling on the TV is excellent so HD recordings look great. SD recordings are watchable but show their origins. UHD content from BBC iPlayer or other streams is stunning.

Interesting, thanks.
funny you should mention series link…..
It normally works for me, except for one that I tried to link.
It will record the particular program, but not series link.

And yes, it is a series ha ha

Why? Is it a private conversation that needs the rest of us excluding? 😯
The quote button is at the bottom of the thread, not the top, and editing the quoted message is a damn nightmare. There is also and Edit button there as well so you can change/correct your own posts.

InactiveMy Humax 5000T works well with my new LG 43UM7400PLB. One oddity was that box kept defaulting to 576i poss due to HDCP handshake issues (thanks to contributor Grahamlthompson for help). Keeping the box on 1080i has helped. My older HDR-Fox T2 had problems playing any sound possibly due to copy protection HDCP software issues
