Please let me know the contact details for someone near Bergerac that could repair a Humax about 10 years old that has stopped recording.
An idea of the likely cost would be very useful.

Quick suggestion.
Open the box, unplug the hard drive, then start the box.
If it loads normally, showing the usual channels, then it is likely you will just need a new hard drive.
If that is the case, search this forum, there have been folk who have done it and described how to do it.
