Won't connect to the internet

    I recently disconnected my router cable from my 5000T Humax and when I reconnected it a couple of days later the Humax claimed it wouldn’t work. The settings told me LAN was okay; it was the router that was at fault. Yet all else connected to the router is working fine. Any idea what’s going on? Thanks

    Try turning the power to the router off for 30s, then turn it back on again and see if the Humax connects. Over the years I have seen a few odd things happen on my network which were fixed by power cycling the router.

    Thanks for the suggestion. It didn’t work but it led me trying the cable in another device which WAS functioning and it didn’t work there either. So I tried the second cable in the Humax .. and there was no problem. I’m sorted but wondering why cable no 1 worked before it was temporarily removed! Thanks for your help
