Hi all. My trusty HDR-1800T has been throwing up a message on Ch103 ITV1 HD … but only when watching the News at Ten !!

Started this week only … any ideas please ?? The sound continues and if I select guide, the picture stays good in preview box !! All very weird.
Not happening on my older FOXSAT HDR in the spare room …

Forgot to say, this does not happen with Ch3 ( standard definition) …
I’ve had the same on my HDR Fox T2.
On HD channels. If you rewind the programme it goes away. Doesn’t seem to affect recordings.
Same prob for me last night between 10 and 11pm. All seems back to normal today but will see what happens at 10pm tonight
Same on my HDR Fox T2 last night during the football on Ch103. The odd thing was after changing channels there was some delay before the caption re-appeared. After the match ended all seemed back to normal.
My first thoughts were being a live match was it being transmitted in a higher format than HD, but can’t be so as 2manyfiles has said playing from an earlier point the caption is not there.
Another thought, was it on all transmitters mine is Heathfield Sussex.

I’ve seen it all sorts of times I think.
I am Sandyheath transmitter..am waiting to see if channel 103 abd 104 go off again tonight…also my standard channel 3 lost sound few days ago and still not come back
